Got into our rooms about 11 pm making it about 22 hrs from getting up at home.
We knew that the weather was not going to be good for the first three days that we were going to be here in fact we were expecting at least 100mm of rain.
Well the forecast was right but we did not expect it to be so windy. We could hear the rain and wind get stronger in the night.
We were the first to breakfast at 8 am which was to us 11am.
Breakfast was tea or coffee, juice, fruit, toast and jam.
We set off on the short 50m walk to the beach well prepared.
No swimming today
We proceeded to walk along the beach road and see what was open which was almost nothing as it was still early. We thought we might walk to the next little bay as nothing else to do but got about half way all very wet we turned around and headed back and found the first place to have coffee and dry a bit.
We then headed back to our Hotel via the 71 yes 71 not 7-11 and got some snacks etc and headed back to the rooms for some TV and making plans.
We made some in inquiry's then had a couple of shifts having 1/2 hr massages and a pedicure.
We then thought we might at ask at other hotels that had a pool that we could pay to use. Of the three we asked only one said yes but would charge about $ 20 each.
We bought some exotic fruit that the boys had seen at school and bought a bunch and then back to the room with an ice cream.
We headed out early in the evening between showers or rain for dinner at Macarona and had various dishes inc Pork Chops, Pizza, burger and chips and a Thai dish? ok but nothing special
